Making decisions can be exhausting; every time we face an influx of choices, we invite ourselves to indulge in feeling tired, unexcited, and potentially less creative. Reducing the number of decisions you have to make ahead of time can help keep you more focused when you need to be. Say you decide to write. What does that really mean? When? What? How? Suddenly one goal becomes a smorgasbord of tiny decisions. Without ready answers, it can be easy to leave writing for ‘later’ and leave good intentions as just that — intentions.
